Renew or update your license
You can file for renewal, and administrative updates online at the FCC we also understand that the FCC online process is not the most user friendly, if you would like us to handle that for you. The Central Alabama VEC offers license renewal and administrative update filing for free as well.

For administrative updates, such as address changes, name updates, or requesting a new call systematically, simply fill out the NCVEC 605 Intake form and submit it. We will send you an electronic NCVEC Quick Form 605 to sign electronically. No additional FCC application fees are required.
For Amateur Radio License renewals, simply fill out the NCVEC 605 Intake form and submit it. We will send you an electronic NCVEC Quick Form 605 to sign electronically. However, you will also be required to pay an additional FCC application fee of $35 directly to the FCC.
** Note renewals can only be submitted within 90 dates of expiration or within the 2-year grace period allowed thereafter.
You should receive a payment email from the FCC, if not check cores and make the payment as soon as you can. Applications not paid within 10 calendar days are dismissed by the FCC.

Club Station Callsigns: Club Station Callsigns are administered by FCC designated Club Station Call Sign Administrators (CSCSA), CAVEC is currently not a CSCSA.
